The Bearshead Napa Valley DVD

Why be a Wine Geek, when you could be a Guru?

The complete guide to the Terroir, History, Winemaking and Tours of this beautiful place and its wines.

"a lavishly filmed tour de force" ForbesLife

Latest Review
What I like most about the DVD is its depth of information about the Napa Valley... Even for many who live here, including myself, there are nuances which it takes nearly a lifetime to fully experience about the many truly different areas which make up the Napa Valley

Get Christmas Sorted....

We are offering free gift-wrap and free delivery on all orders from the website, AND a 20% discount if you buy 5 or more Bearshead Napa Valley DVDs- which means that you can celebrate your efficient holiday shopping by using the money left over to buy yourself a decent bottle of wine for your own stocking.

If the recession has amped up your inner Scrooge (showing in 3D at the Cameo until Dec 3) here are a sack-load of reasons to shut him up:

Minimal carbon footprint on shipping to all your far flung friends (4oz/DVD)
"Great gift for all your oenophile friends"(St Helena Star)
See 44 top Napa Valley wineries, 88 top winemakers, viticulturists & winery owners, without spending a cent on gas.
"a lavishly filmed tour de force"(ForbesLife)
Information even YOU don't know despite living here for years.
"tour is like a fine vintage wine!" (Amazon)
The only way to drink and drive through the Valley.
"incredibly insightful and useful tool" (Robert Bath, Master Sommelier)
Beautiful views of the Valley for people who simply haven't made it here yet.
"Perfect for the wine neophyte as well as the cognoscenti" (Peter Marks, Master of Wine)

The perfect souvenir for all your holiday guests. Need we say more?

....and Get Out On the Town!

Having sorted out all your gift-giving (click here if you just remembered someone else) you now have TIME to enjoy all the excitements this month has to offer (see calendar). Prices for these events are down significantly over last year, and many are FREE.

For those of you who are still kicking yourselves for not getting tickets to last month's CIA celebration of "Street Food" (whose $1,350 tickets obviously sold out almost immediately) relief is at hand: Napa's Taco Michoacan Trucks sell delicious street food from $1.50.

Our Very Best Wishes for Peace and Holiday Good Cheer!

Cheers!

James & Kerry

Charity wine auctions are a great source for rare and unusual bottlings. While prices can get quite steep at the big name live auctions (although you shouldn't forget the tax breaks, nor the karmic returns on your philanthropic self indulgences.. ), it is often well worth checking out the attendant silent auctions for more affordable gems.
We make no guarantees that this calendar is comprehensive, but would be very grateful for any suggestions of upcoming events that we should know about.
